Denison completed the Capital-Otterbein Invitational with a split on Saturday to close out the weekend with a 2-2 record.  The Big Red opened the morning with a come-from-behind 3-2 (18-25, 25-18, 22-25, 25-17, 15-12) win over Rose-Hulman. 

Against the Engineers, the Big Red got 13 kills from first-year Rachele Lock and 12 kills by Elena Lein.  Emily Marguerite posted 32 digs while Kenzie Kuhn added six of the team's 10 blocks while also posting three service aces.  DU's pair of setters, Jessica Borsani and Carly Newell combined for 34 assists.  Borsani led the way with 20.

In the afternoon, Denison fell to Trine, 3-1 (25-20, 24-26, 21-25, 15-25) despite a 12-kill, five block performance by Kuhn.  Marguerite once again paced the team with 33 digs while Borsani finished with 16 assists.

Denison will return to action on Wednesday when they travel back to Capital for a 7 p.m. match against the Crusaders.
