The Denison volleyball team fell to Mount Union College, 3-0 (25-22, 25-13, 26-24), on day two of the College of Mount St. Joseph Invitational on Saturday morning in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Sophomores Megan Early (Findlay, Ohio/Van Buren) and Kristen Hughes (Downington, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) paced the Big Red attack with eight kills apiece, while Claire Koneval (Solon, Ohio/Solon) dished off 30 assists en route to being named to the all-tournament team.  Defensively, senior Holly Leonard (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) notched 15 digs.

Denison is now 1-8 on the year.  The Big Red return to action on Tuesday (Sept. 15) when they host NAIA foe Mt. Vernon Nazarene.  Match time from Livingston Gymnasium is slated for 7 p.m.
