The Denison University volleyball team suffered a 3-0 (25-23, 25-11, 25-19) setback to the College of Wooster on Wednesday evening from Timken Gymnasium in Wooster, Ohio.  With the loss, the Big Red fall to 6-21 overall and 5-8 in the North Coast Athletic Conference.

Offensively, DU was led by senior Sara Mason (Lakewood, Ohio/Lakewood) and sophomore Lauren Strowder (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) who each recorded six kills on the night.  Claire Koneval (Solon, Ohio/Solon) handed out 21 assists while Lauren Weidner (Lake Barrington, Ill./Barrington) and Holly Leonard (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) registered 16 and 15 digs, respectively.

KateLynn Riley logged a game-high 14 kills and six blocks, while Lizzi Beal had 27 assists and Kelley Johnson notched 18 digs.

Denison returns to the court on Friday night when they welcome Hiram College to Livingston Gymnasium at 7 p.m.
