Biography

2015 (Senior): Named second-team All-NCAC ... started all 17 games finishing with 47 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers ... scored a goal in Denison's Senior Day win over Wabash (April 18) ... forced five turnovers against Oberlin (April 4).

2014 (Junior): Voted to the USILA Division III All-American squad ... started all 20 games finishing with 38 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers ... named to NCAC All-Tournament team and was a first-team All-NCAC selection.

2013 (Sophomore): Started all 15 games on close defense ... totaled 21 ground balls ... posted four caused turnovers in a win over Kenyon in the NCAC Semifinals.

2012 (Freshman): Played in 10 games as a rookie ... posted seven ground balls and six caused turnovers.

Personal: Economics major with a minor in political science ... son of Thomas and Rebecca Newman ... was a high school All-American and member of the National Honor Society at Upper St. Clair High School.
