Malinowski joined the Denison men's lacrosse coaching staff in August of 2024. He will serve as the Offensive Coordinator for the Big Red.
In the 2025 season, the Big Red Lacrosse team finished 13-7 and 7-1 in conference play. The Big Red made their ninth-straight NCAC Tournament appearance, but would fall short in the title game to Ohio Wesleyan 13-10. Despite the loss, Malinowski and the team would get an NCAA tournament bid. Denison would fight, but would lose in the first round to eventual runner-up Dickinson College in overtime, 8-7. Malinowski had four players earn All-NCAC for their offensive efforts, those include Tommy Quinson, Jack Hines, Collin Murphy, and Kevin Berutich. Quinson was the only player to be a repeat selection, and was back-to-back first-team. Quinson, Hines, and Murphy were all named Honorable Mention All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). Quinson was also recognized by USA Lacrosse for his efforts. The Big Red offense was one of the best in the conference, as they ranked top-three offensively in the conference in goals per game (14.58), points per game (23), shot percentage (.336), and assists per game (8.42). As a team, the Big Red scored 284 goals, 166 assists, 384 shots on goal, 58.8% shot on goal percentage, and 42.6 shots per game.
