Sam Bubonics will enter his second season as a member of the Denison University football coaching staff, serving as the wide receivers coach.
In his first season, Denison would go 6-4 and 5-3 in conference play, finishing fourth in the NCAC. Bubonics led a group of wide receivers to impressive numbers, as the top-three receivers on the team ranked in the top-15 in the conference in yards. Junior Grayson Kerscher led the team in receiving with 1,239 yards, and was first in the conference in yards per game (123.9). Kerscher, named first team All-NCAC, led the country in receiving yards per game, and was 14th in the country in touchdowns with 12, along with becoming the third player in program history to eclipse 1,000 yards in a season. Senior Logan Yater caught 67 passes for 760 yards for six touchdowns, and senior Jack Williams caught 55 for 552 yards and six touchdowns. Kerscher was named D3football.com third team All-Region 4, and was named a CSC second team Academic All-America recipient.
