Kaleb Jarrett enters his fourth year overall and second year as the recruiting coordinator and full-time assistant football coach at Denison University in 2024, where he works with the quarterbacks.
In 2023, the Big Red won their final four games to finish the season 7-3 overall and tie for second place in the North Coast Athletic Conference standings (6-2) for the second year in a row. Under Coach Jarrett's watch, senior Jimmy Stines embarked upon his only season as the Big Red's starting quarterback and recorded 159 completions for 2,274 yards and 24 touchdowns. He averaged 227.4 yards per game, had a career-high 386 passing yards Denison's season opener at Capital (Sept. 2), and threw a career-high five touchdowns at Hiram (Sept. 23). By the end of the season, the Denison offense ranked within the top-50 nationally, was the No. 1-rated redzone offensive in the NCAC (18th nationally), boasted the top rusher in the NCAC (Trey Fabrocini; 1,402 yards; 5th nationally), and had the top player in receiving touchdowns in the conference (Josh Aiello; 15 touchdowns; 7th nationally).
Denison finished its 2022 season 8-2 overall and 6-2 in the NCAC, which was good for a tie for second place, while fifth-year quarterback Drew Dawkins was named Second-Team All-NCAC after setting new career-highs in passing attempts (243), completions (152), yards (1,977) and touchdowns (22) while also completing 62.55 percent of his passes and averaging 197.7 passing yards per game. Dawkins' 22 passing touchdowns in 2022 are tied for the third most in program history while his 1,977 passing yards just breaks his previous career-high of 1,936 yards set in 2019 that ranked 11th in the Big Red record books. In the NCAC, Dawkins was tied for third in passing touchdowns and was fourth in total passing yards, passing yards per game and passing efficiency (157.48). He was also ranked 35th nationally in both passing touchdowns and passing efficiency.
In Coach Jarrett's first season at Denison in 2021, the Big Red finished 6-4 overall and 6-3 in the conference, which was tied for fourth place.
Jarrett is a 2021 graduate of Olivet College, where he was a quarterback for the Comets.
He is a native of Newark, Ohio.
