2015 (Senior): Co-Captain of the Big Red, started all ten games at tight end ... caught 28 passes for 253 yards and 4 touchdowns ... registered season-highs in receptions (6) and yards (78) to go along with a touchdown in a win over Kenyon on Senior Day ... finished career with 43 receptions for 345 yards and 7 touchdowns.

2014 (Junior): Named honorable mention All-NCAC after appearing in all 10 games and starting five ... caught 11 passes for 55 yards and three touchdowns ... set season-highs in receptions (six), yards (39), and touchdowns (two) during Sept. 13 game at Hiram.

2013 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 10 games for the Big Red making six starts ... posted four receptions for 37 yards.

2012 (Freshman): Made 6 appearances for the Big Red in is freshman campaign.

Personal: Biology major ... son of Derrick and Kristi Layer ... brother, Braden, is an assistant coach on this year's staff.
