2017 (Senior): Started 34 of 39 games in the outfield for DU ... hit .321 with 10 extra-bast hits, 30 RBIs, 37 runs scored and 15 stolen bases ... finished second among all Denison outfielders with three assists ... logged 12 multi-hit games and 10 multiple-RBI performances ... opened the season by driving in a season-high four runs on two hits in a 17-2 victory over Manchester (March 4) ... went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBIs and three runs in a 13-8 win over Heidelberg (March 27) ... was a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBIs in a 20-7 victory over Wittenberg (April 23) ... garned NCAC Hitter of the Week honors on March 6.
2016 (Junior): Played in 41 games ... made the move to the outfield in 2016 and made an impact with his arm, leading all Denison outfielders with nine assists ... hit .304 with 34 runs scored and 34 RBIs ... went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBIs in a 12-4 win over Ohio Wesleyan ... hit a home run in the 20-8 win over Mary Hardin-Baylor on March 13.
2015 (Sophomore): Started 27 of 30 games for the Big Red ... finished second on the team in batting average (.337), third in RBIs (22) and assists (48), and fifth in doubles (6), hits (33), slugging percentage (.418), total bases (41) and walks (13) ... posted a team-best 12-game hitting streak (March 29-April 16) ... had 10 multi-hit games, including a three hit, three RBI performance against Case Western Reserve (March 29).
2014 (Freshman): Started 11 of 22 games, including starts in the final nine games of the season ... hit .279 with nine runs, two RBI and a stolen base ... went 6-for-13 (.462) with a doubles, six runs and an RBI in the NCAC Crossover Series with Hiram (May 3-4).
Personal: Computer science major ... son of Mindi and Ron Flax ... brother, Jeff, played baseball at La Salle University ... brother, Michael, transferred from the University of Tennessee to play baseball at La Salle University ... provides play-by-play and color commentary for various Big Red athletic events as a member of the Denison Sports Network.
