2016-17 (Senior): Named to the 2017 NCAC first-team after averaging 18.3 ppg and 6.0 rpg ... broke the NCAA Division III record for free throw percentage after shooting .965 (136-141) from the line this season ... also became Division III's career leader in free throw percentage at .929 (260-280) ... Scored 1,000th career point in his final career game ... leaves Denison 1,022 points in only two seasons at Denison ... is just the second two-year player in program history to score over 1,000 points ... scored in double digits in 25 of 27 games ... scored a season-high 27 points against Allegheny on Feb. 11 ... shot 45.8 percent from 3-point range and 47.9 percent from the field.

2015-16 (Junior): Was named to the NCAC All-Tournament team after averaging 21.7 ppg in three games ... was named the NCAC Player of the Week on Feb. 1 ... named to D3Hoops.com Great Lakes All-Region Team and NABC Great Lakes District second-team ... scored a career-high 32 points in Denison's win over Oberlin on Dec. 9.

2014-15 (Sophomore at Ashland): Averaged 7.1 points and 2.5 rebounds in 29 games at Ashland University ... scored a career-high 18 points against Tiffin (Jan. 31).

2013-14 (Freshman at Ashland): Appeared in 19 games at Division II Ashland University ... averaged 1.9 points and 1.1 rebounds per game ... had a season-high 11 points in his first game with the Eagles, a 106-66 win over Oberlin (Nov. 12).

Personal: Athletic training major ... son of Renee and Kevin Speelman ... high school teammates with fellow Denison senior David Meurer ... Division IV Player of the Year and two-time first-team All-Ohio at Newark Catholic High School.
