Biography

2019 (Senior): Made eight appearances out of the Big Red bullpen ... struck out five batters in 9.2 innings pitched ... posted two scoreless innings of work against Muskingum on April 29.

2018 (Junior): Appeared in six games out of the bullpen ... struck out eight batters in 8.0 innings of work ... tossed two scoreless innings in the season-opener at Hampden-Sydney (March 3).

2017 (Sophomore): Made four appearances out of the bullpen ... threw 3.2 innings with four strikeouts ... tossed a hitless inning in the Big Red's 15-0 win over Wabash (April 2). 

2016 (First-Year): Played at Rhodes College where he made 14 appearances on the hill.

Personal: Economics major ... son of Randi and Brian Kurtzer ... member of the National Honor Society at Cary Academy.
