After winning its fifth-straight North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament title, Denison has earned the top seed in the 2024 Granville Regional, which will be played this weekend, May 17-19, at the Big Red Baseball Field in Granville, Ohio.
Denison will open play in the tournament on Friday at 11:00 a.m. against fourth-seeded Hanover. In the other opening-round game on Friday, second-seeded Rowan will square off against third-seeded Millikin at 2:30 p.m.
The double-elimination tournament continues into Saturday morning with the losers of the first two contests squaring off at 11:00 a.m. in an elimination game while the winners of the first two games will meet at 2:30 p.m. with a slot in the championship round on the line.
The final slot in the championship round will be determined Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. with the winner of game three taking on the loser of game four. The first championship game will be played Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with game seven set for 45 minutes following the conclusion of game six if necessary.

No. 2 Denison baseball selected to host third straight NCAA Regional
The No. 2 nationally-ranked Denison University baseball team is looking to bring home its first NCAA Regional Championship in program history as the Big Red were selected to serve as a host institution for the NCAA Division III Baseball Regionals for the third year in a row. The Big Red were selected to host a four-team regional which will begin on Friday, May 17, in Granville, Ohio. Denison tied with Wittenberg University for first place in the North Coast Athletic Conference during the regular season, earning the fourth-straight regular-season crown for the Big Red, and won its fifth-straight NCAC Tournament title this past weekend as well after beating Wittenberg twice on Sunday, May 12. The Big Red earned the NCAC's automatic bid to regionals for the fifth year in a row, and will now compete in the NCAA Tournament for the sixth year in a row after doing so for the first time in program history in 2018. Denison, currently ranked No. 2 in the D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 Poll, will bring a 39-6 overall record into regionals. The Big Red set a new program record for wins in the regular season (35) and are currently tied for the most wins in a single season in program history.
Rowan earns at-large big to NCAA Granville Regional; Profs open play vs. Millikin on Friday
Rowan has earned an at-large bid to the 2024 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship and will participate in the NCAA Granville (OH) Regional hosted by Denison University, with Millikin and Hanover rounding out the field in the four-team regional. The Profs (27-13) will open play in the double-elimination tournament against Millikin (29-14) on Friday, May 17 at 2:30 p.m. at Big Red Field. It marks the seventh consecutive NCAA appearance for Rowan under head coach Mike Dickson. The Profs have also reached the NCAA Super Regionals for three consecutive years, while advancing to the NCAA Division III World Series in 2021. Last year, Rowan won the Ambler (PA) Regional to advance to the NCAA Salisbury Super Regional, where the Profs fell to #2 Salisbury.
Millikin headed to Ohio in NCAA Tournament
Winners of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Tournament, the Millikin baseball team is headed to Dennison University in Granville, Ohio in the regional round of the 2024 NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament. The Big Blue will face Rowan College in the opening round on Friday with start time to be announced. Millikin earned its spot in the tournament after winning the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) regular season and tournament title.
Hanover to compete at NCAA Divison III Regional
The Hanover Baseball team is set to compete in the program's first NCAA Division III Regional Tournament hosted by Denison University. The Hanover Panthers continue to make history in 2024 winning the program's first HCAC Tournament title with a 30-15 overall record. They currently hold the longest active streak with runs scored in a game at 88 straight games. They broke the single season RBI record of 325 set in 1984 with 330 and counting. The 2024 Panthers hold the single season doubles record with 112 and counting, breaking the previous mark of 89 set in 1984. After winning the regular season crown the Panthers advanced to the HCAC Tournament as the no. 1 seed, earning a first round bye. Hanover used it to their advantage as they were able to knock-off Mount St. Joseph 10-7. However, they hit a speed bump in game two falling in extra innings to the no. 2 seed Pioneers, 12-10. But Hanover was able to right the ship, knocking off Anderson before taking two out of three from Transylvania, while facing elimination, to be crowned HCAC Champions. For their efforts in 2024, the Panthers landed 10 on the all-conference list headlined by Head Coach Grant Bellak and sophomore pitcher John Girard. Girard claimed Pitcher of the Year honors after an impressive campaign. The sophomore leads the HCAC in ERA, shutouts, strikeouts, and strikeouts looking.
PARKING INFORMATION:
Visitors are encouraged to park at the baseball field, but overflow parking will be allowed at the Mitchell Center (Trumbull Aquatics Center parking lot), and a shuttle between the Mitchell Center and the Big Red Baseball Field will be provided if needed. Handicapped parking will be available in the baseball field parking lot on a first come, first served basis.

TICKETS:
The prices for admission to the 2023 Granville Regional are $10 for adults and $6 for children, seniors and students with their college ID. Each ticket is good for one day of admission at the tournament.
PET POLICY:
Pets are not allowed at the Big Red Baseball Field.
SEATING / RESTROOMS:
Limited bleacher seating will be provided, so fans are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs if possible.Temporary restrooms (Porta Johns) will be available at the Big Red Baseball Field, and additional restroom facilities will be accessible in the Mitchell Center.
CONCESSIONS / MERCHANDISE:
Limited concessions will be for sale out of the softball press box during each day of the tournament, and NCAA Merchandise for the Regional Round will also be for sale.
