2011 (Senior): Started all ten games at cornerback for the Big Red ... totaled 34 tackles, an interception, and a fumble recovery in his senior season ... made a season-high seven tackles on Sept. 24 against Case Western.

2010 (Junior): Started all ten games for the Big Red in the defensive backfield ... recorded 39 tackles on the season ... posted a career-high eight tackles and recovered a fumble in a Sept. 25 matchup against Case Western Reserve ... made seven tackles and one of his two interceptions on the season in the Oct. 9 meeting with Chicago.

2009 (Sophomore): Started eight of ten games in the secondary ... led the team in pass breakups (6) and was fifth in tackles with 35 ... notched seven tackles (6 solo) against Earlham on Nov. 14.

2008 (Freshman): Played in six games in the defensive backfield and made four tackles.

Personal: Economics major ... son of Jim and Cheryl Effinger ... is also a member of the Denison track and field team where he earned All-NCAC honors as a member of Denison's 4x200 relay team ... member of DSAAC, the Denison Student Athlete Advisory Council ... member of the National Honor Society at Pickerington North High School.
