Granville, Ohio- The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Swimming and Diving teams were announced, and four Denison University men's swimming and diving team members were selected. College Sports Communicators selected these student-athletes for their combined efforts in the pool and in the classroom.
Senior Nick Fogle (Corcoran, Minn.| Psychology major) received his first Academic All-District® Team honor after a standout 2025-26 diving season. At the 2026 NCAC Championships, Fogle won the 3-meter dive (516.20) and took third in the 1-meter (475.30). This led to a spot at the 2026 NCAA Regionals, where he finished first in the 3-meter and second in the 1-meter. He ended his career with first-place finishes in both events at the NCAA Division III Championships, earning the CSCAA Diver of the Year award.
Sophomore George Goins (Charlotte, N.C. | Financial Economics major) earned his first Academic All-District® Team honor after an impressive second year with Big Red. At the 2026 NCAC Championships, Goins won the 1650 (15:24.75) and 500 Free (4:26.22), earning a spot on the 2026 Denison men's swimming and diving national team. At Nationals, Goins continued his success in the 1650 and 500 Free. In the 500 Free, he swam a 4:22.30, earning him his first NCAA title. He claimed a second National Championship in the 1650 Free, improving his time by 20 seconds to 15:04.33. Goins was also part of the winning 800 Free Relay.
Junior Jack Hill (Leighton Buzzard, U.K. | Economics major) for the second consecutive year has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team. Hill continues to bolster his resume in his third year with the Big Red, tallying seven NCAC Championship titles at this year's conference championship and helping lead the team to its 15th championship. He was named the 2026 NCAC Swimmer of the Year. At this year's NCAA Championships, Hill joined Fogle and Goins as a two-time national champion, winning the 100 and 200 Free with record times. His dominance across seven events earned him the CSCAA Swimmer of the Year Award, completing a sweep of the CSCAA's major honors for Denison.
Junior Liam Nelson (Pakkret, Thailand | Health, Exercise, and Sports Studies major and Economics minor), for the first time in his career, was named to the 2026 Academic All-District® Team. He had a standout junior season, earning two conference titles in the 200 and 400 Medley Relay and a second-place finish in the 200 Breast. His efforts throughout the season earned him a spot on the 2026 National team, where he tallied two First-Team All-American finishes and one Second-Team finish.
