Wooster & Oberlin, Ohio – The Denison men's tennis team extended its win streak to 12 by defeating No. 5 Case Western Reserve University 4-1 and North Coast Athletic Conference opponent Oberlin College 6-1. These matches kicked off a six-match weekend stretch that includes Senior Day on Sunday, April 12, before a 10 a.m. match. Denison improves to 16-2 overall and 4-0 in NCAC play. Case drops to 22-6; Oberlin falls to 9-6, 1-2 NCAC.

Doubles: Denison took an early 1-0 doubles lead with wins on courts two and three. Jacob Patterson and Wesley Huang breezed past their court three opponents, 6-2. Simultaneously, Kael Shah and Ethan Green fell 6-4 on court one, making court two decisive. Andreas Chapides and Nick Meyers stayed composed to edge Case Western Reserve, 6-4, on court two.

Singles: Andreas Chapides continued his success in singles play, securing Denison's first singles victory by defeating his opponent 6-1, 6-3 result on court three. On court six, Case's Bryce Ware beat Denison's Anthony Payiavlas 6-1, 6-2, the Spartans' only victory. Denison secured its last two wins on courts one and two. In the top flight, Kael Shah prevailed 6-1, 6-3. Teammate and doubles partner Ethan Green rallied to win 7-5, 7-5. With three singles wins, Denison clinched the 4-1 victory. Matches on courts four and five were abandoned.

On court three, Anthony Payiavlas and Andreas Chapides beat their Yeomen opponents 6-1. Minutes later, Ethan Green and Kael Shah defeated their opponents 6-2 on court one. Completing the doubles sweep, Wesley Huang and Jacob Patterson won 6-3 on court two.

Just after Chapides' win, Ethan Green clinched number three on court one, 6-1, 6-4. Jacob Patterson edged out a closer contest on court three, 6-4, 6-3. Up 5-0 with two matches to play,Arya Ganapathy Kallambella secured Denison's sixth win, 6-2, 6-2, on court six. In the final match, Denison's Nickawn Namdar came up short against Oberlin's Naginski, falling 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-3).
