Lake Nona, Fla. - In their final spring break match, the Denison women's tennis team defeated George Fox University 6-1 to continue their win streak, which now spans to 11. The Big Red picked up gritty wins in singles, while they swept in doubles to take home the win. Denison moves to 12-2, while George Fox falls to 4-7.

Doubles: Denison earned a sweep across the board in doubles play, as Peyton Oda and Audrey Stanfield kicked things off with a 6-2 decision in the No. 3 fight. In the No. 1 spot, Dasha Chistyakova and Caitlin Van Winkle found themselves down 2-0 early on, but rattled off six-straight sets to clinch the point for Denison, 6-2. Maddie Larsen and Rafaella Ramos capped off the sweep with a back-and-forth 7-5 victory heading into singles play.

Singles: Ariana Rodriguez elevated the Big Red to a 2-0 lead, winning her match 6-0, 6-1. Leach followed up with another dominant showing, winning her first set 6-0 and rattling off four-straight sets in the second match to win 6-3. To clinch the 11th straight win for Denison, Chistyakova finished off her opponent 6-0, 6-2 to lead 4-0. Nowicki and Oda had to grind out their wins in the No. 1 and 3 flights, as Oda defeated Riley Bobkiewicz in three-sets, and Nowicki in three-sets with a 10-4 decision in the final match.
