Granville, Ohio (Feb. 11): The Dension men's swimming and diving team kicked off the 2026 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championships with four top-three finishes, two NCAC event records, and one Denison pool record. After day one, the Big Red led the standings with 234 points, followed by conference rival Kenyon College with 183. Sitting in third place is Wabash College with 178, DePauw University collected 160 points for fourth place, and Oberlin rounds out the top five with 133.
In the diving well, senior Nick Fogle earned his second consecutive first-place finish in the 3-meter dive after scoring 516.20 points. Joining Fogle as an All-NCAC finisher was sophomore Seamus McCann, who scored a total of 461.15 for third place, just edging out teammate Brendan Stanley, who finished fourth with a score of 457.15.
Denison continued to showcase its speed in the 200 Medley Relay, taking first place, after swimming it in 1:26.68 (B-cut). Ben Bevill, Liam Nelson, Sam Hibbert, and Nick Hensel 200 Medley time broke last year's NCAC 200 Medley record (1:26.77- Bevill, Daly, Narcelles, Hensel) by 0:0.09 seconds.
The Big Red would close out day one with an electric Pool and conference record finish in the 800 Free Relay. This time, Jack Hill, Hensel, Luke Swiggett, and Devin Testin took first-place, after swimming the 800 Free Relay in 6:27.16 (B-cut), shattering the 2025 NCAC record of 6:31.58 (Hill, Jones, McIntire, Testin) and securing the newest pool record.
