Granville, Ohio – The Denison women's soccer team earned a 1-1 draw against Centre College on Saturday afternoon at Kienzle-Hylbert Stadium. Sophomore Mara McGlone delivered the equalizer in the 82nd minute to secure the result for the Big Red. Denison moves to 2-2-1 for the season, while Centre moves to 5-0-1.

The first half was a defensive battle, with Denison controlling the run of play but unable to break through despite holding an 8-1 advantage in shots. After the break, Centre struck first in the 56th minute when the Colonels found the back of the net to put them ahead 1-0.

Denison continued to apply pressure and finally broke through late in the match. After a sustained push, McGlone scored her seventh career goal in the 82nd minute to bring the Big Red level.

For the match, Denison outshot Centre 16-3, including a 6-2 edge in shots on target. The Big Red also earned a 4-3 advantage in corner kicks. In goal, Molly Noga recorded one save while the Denison back line limited Centre's attack to just two shots on frame.
