Granville, Ohio- The No. 2 Denison University men's tennis team advanced to its 32nd North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tournament Championship match after defeating Wabash College 4-0 in the semifinals. The Big Red moves 22-2 overall, while the Little Giants conclude their season with a record of 15-10.

Denison took a quick 1-0 lead over Wabash following doubles play. Leading the charge for the Big Red was flight one's doubles duo, Ethan Green and Kael Shah, who defeated the Little Giants' Rafael Rin and Augusto Ghidini 6-1. The Big Red earned its one-point lead after Andreas Chapides and Chika Nwaozuzu beat Wabash's Murilo Guarniari and Ethan Koeneman 6-2 on court three.

In singles play, the Big Red quickly pulled away from its opponent. Junior Kael Shah earned Denison's second point of the day after taking down Rafael Rin for a second time, by a score of 6-1, 6-1 on court two. Shah's doubles partner, Ethan Green, would tack on another victory for the Big Red with a 6-2, 6-0 decision over Wabash's Cole Shifferly on court one. Clinching the semifinals victory for Denison was first-year Nick Meyers, who outlasted his opponent, Guarniari 6-4, 6-2 on court three.

When asked about how the match against Wabash went, head coach David Schilling shared that, " he thought they played a very clean match. The guys were focused and played with passion, which is what we talked about consistently. We will have to maintain that focus in tomorrow's final."
