Granville, Ohio- In its home opener and Senior Day, the No. 21 Denison women's squash team took on the University of Virginia, falling to the No. 6-ranked Cavaliers 9-0. Throughout the morning matchup, the Big Red scored six or more points in a game at least six times across the nine courts against UVA. 

Though the Cavaliers came out on top with a 9-0 sweep, the Big Red tallied 127 points off of UVA, and their efforts were well showcased by first-year Isabela Campos Chahin, who scored 16 points on court four, while junior Esme Adelman and Tess Lanza scored 15 against their opponents on court five and eight, respectively. Rounding out the top point totals was sophomore Charlotte Jones and senior Lane Harding, who tallied 14 points on courts one and ten.
