Wooster, Ohio - Even after outshooting Wooster 17-9, the Denison women's soccer team could not find the back of the net and ended its matchup against the Fighting Scots in a 0-0 draw. Denison moves to 6-3-4 overall and 1-0-2 in conference play, while Wooster moves to 8-3-2 and 0-2-1 in North Coast Athletic Conference play.

The first half got off to a quick start as goalkeeper Molly Noga got moving early with a save in the first 15 seconds. The Big Red would not get their first shot off until the seventh minute mark, as Mattie Mielke missed high on her attempt. Neither team could get things rolling in the first half, as the score was tied at zero. 

Denison led in shots at the end of the first half, holding an 8-4 advantage, with three of them being on target. The Big Red also had five corners, but could not capitalize.

The second half would be more of the same, with both teams firing off shots but both goalies flashing their gloves. Denison did have a chance in the 83rd minute, as Maryn Zavislak shot a nice ball but was saved, and it would be the final chance for the Big Red.

Mielke led the Big Red in shots with three, while Zavisklak had two shots, with one of them being on target. Noga was active in goal all day, racking up four saves to record her fifth shutout of the season.
