GRANVILLE, Ohio (March 23, 2024) – In a matchup between the two teams that have met up in the North Coast Athletic Conference Championship during each of the last three seasons, the Denison University men's lacrosse team opened up NCAC action with a resounding 20-10 win over Kenyon College on Saturday afternoon inside Denison's new Kienzle-Hylbert Stadium.

Luke Fisher (8 goals; 2 assists) teamed with Tommy Quinson (5 goals; 3 assists) to account for 13 of Denison's 20 goals.

Nate Kay added three goals, Brady Monturio (2 goals; 1 assist) matched him with three points and had his first-career multi-goal game, and Kevin Berutich added two assists.

Denison led 3-0 after goals by Nick Vance, Fisher and Monturio in the first five minutes of the game and then after leading 4-2 at the end of the first quarter, scored the first five goals of the second quarter to go up 9-2 on a goal by Quinson with 6:30 left until halftime.

Quinson accounted for three goals during Denison's 5-0 run to open up the second quarter before Fisher scored the Big Red's final two goals of the period to help make it 11-4 at the end of the half.

Denison ultimately led by as many as 11 points (17-6) after a 4-0 stretch ending with another goal by Quinson with 3:56 left in the third quarter.

The Big Red won five of seven faceoffs and outshot the Owls 12-4 in the first quarter as Kenyon struggled to get good looks at the goal in the opening period.
