GRANVILLE—The 10^th ranked Denison women's lacrosse team improved to 7-1 after an 18-6 win over Allegheny on Saturday afternoon at Piper Stadium. Allegheny took a 3-0 lead six minutes into the game but the Big Red scored 16 of the next 17 goals to run away with a convincing win.

• Liza Farnham led the offense with five goals and one assist on 10 shots. Emma Repke followed with four goals on six shot attempts. Both players finished with three ground balls.
• Denison totaled 30 ground balls as a team, led by Annie Rau who totaled seven to go along with three caused turnovers.
• Charlotte Godfrey led the way with six draw controls while Lindsey Karsh followed with two goals, one assist, three caused turnovers, five draw controls and two ground balls.
• DU outshot Allegheny 45-10 while controlling 18 of 25 draws taken.
• Big Red goalie Caroline O'Dea finished with four saves in 60 minutes of action.

Denison returns to NCAC West Division play on Wednesday, April 21 when they travel to DePauw for a 5 p.m. draw against the Tigers.
