GREENCASTLE, Ind.-- Nolan Ginther scored 29 points to lead No. 14 DePauw to a 71-58 win over Denison at Neal Fieldhouse. The victory for the Tigers avenged an 84-66 loss to the Big Red on Thursday night in Granville.
Denison was led in scoring by
Will Hunter and
Darren Rubin who each finished with 12 points.
Spencer Patenaude added 11 points off the bench while
Conor Fenton finished with eight points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots.
Ginter was 11-for-16 from the field and was 3-of-4 from 3-point range. The Tigers shot 53 percent for the game and were 7-of-17 from long range. Aaron Shank followed Ginther with 15 points and seven boards.
Denison drops to 3-2 with the loss while DePauw improves to 8-1. The Big Red return to the court on Thursday, February 25 when they travel to the College of Wooster for a 7 p.m. tip-off.
