Tricia Harris returns for her 17th year at Denison University in 2024-25. Harris serves as the Director of Sports Medicine at Denison. A 2002 graduate of Wilmington College, Harris has had two stints at DU.

At Denison's 11th Annual James T. Glerum '82 Top-50 Scholar-Athlete Honors Celebration on Monday, April 4, Tricia Harris and the Denison Sports Medicine Staff were honored with the The Town & Gown Award, which is presented to the Granville community member who has supported Denison in extraordinary ways over the last year. The Denison Sports Medicine Staff were recognized for their COVID efforts. The collaborative work and leadership of Denison's Sports Medicine Staff were key components in Denison being able to navigate COVID-19 and its team's ability to stay healthy and compete.

After serving two years as the head athletic trainer at Granville High School, Harris joined the Denison staff in 2006, serving as the primary trainer for the volleyball, field hockey, softball, men's basketball and baseball teams.

In 2007 she enrolled in the graduate program at Ohio University where she served as a graduate assistant while working with the Bobcat baseball and softball teams. She earned her master of science in recreation and sports sciences in 2008.

After graduate school, Harris returned to Denison in 2008 and served as the primary trainer for men's basketball, men's soccer, baseball, and softball. In 2011, she was the primary trainer for women's soccer, cross country, men's basketball, softball, and tennis. Harris also oversees the training room student work staff.

Harris is a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers' Association, the Ohio Athletic Trainers' Association and is an authorized instructor with the American Red Cross.
