Terrell White enters his second season as an assistant football coach at Denison University in 2024, where he works with the running backs. White also works as an Athletics Facilities Coordinator at Denison.Â
Coach White officially joined the Big Red coaching staff in the Spring of 2023.
In 2023, the Big Red won their final four games to finish the season 7-3 overall and tie for second place in the North Coast Athletic Conference standings (6-2) for the second year in a row. Trey Fabrocini (senior running back) was named First-Team All-NCAC for the third straight season and was also named Second-Team All-Region 4 by D3football.com for the second year in a row. The Big Red were driven by a prolific offense that tallied 35-plus points five times and saw Fabrocini led the conference in rushing (1,406 yards) and scoring (120 points). By the end of the season, the Denison offense ranked within the top-50 nationally, was the No. 1-rated redzone offensive in the NCAC (18th nationally), boasted the top rusher in the NCAC (Fabrocini; 1,402 yards; 5th nationally), and had the top player in receiving touchdowns in the conference (Josh Aiello; 15 touchdowns; 7th nationally).
Coach White coached previously at Newark High School (Newark, Ohio) and played collegiately as a safety at the University of Toledo (Toledo, Ohio) and Otterbein University (Westerville, Ohio). He also played for Newark High School and was named honorable mention all-district in football and second-team all-conference and scholastic MVP in baseball, all while placing third in the shot put and discus in Licking County in track & field.
