Denison University softball welcomes Sophia Halliday as its new Assistant Softball Coach ahead of the 2026 season.
A native of New Albany, Ohio, and graduate of the University of Oregon, Halliday brings an plethora of experience in the softball world. She was a four-year letter winner at New Albany High School, and played ten years of travel softball. She has also volunteered in a your softball training camp the lst four years, building her overall knowledge of the game.
Halliday graduated the University of Oregon with a bachelors' degree in Human Physiology and was an athletic training intern for the Ducks Football and Softball programs.Â
