David Snider enters his first season as a part-time assistant men's and women's golf coach at Denison.
Snider returns to coaching, having previously been a member of the Muskingum University golf coaching staff in 2017-2018. While at Muskingum, Snider was part of a staff that successfully reestablished the women's golf team, setting the foundation for the program to continue uninterrupted since. With the men's team, he developed practice schedules and tournament plans, coaching the team to two top-five finishes during the season.Â
Snider has been a full-time member of Denison's Knowlton Center for Career Exploration since 2018. Currently, he serves as Senior Associate Director and leads the Marketing, Sales & Communications Career Community. In his role at Knowlton, Snider works with Denison students to navigate the career exploration process from the beginning to successfully launching post-graduation careers.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Muskingum University. At Muskingum, Snider was a four-year member of the men's golf program, where he was named captain and awarded Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors.Â
