Clark Tinder, Denison's Athletics Operations Manager- Aquatics and Events  joined the Big Red Athletics staff in Fall of 2025. In his first academic year at Denison Tinder has overseen the Trumbull Aquatics Center, where the Big Red hosted seven home meets including the 2026 NCAC Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. Along with his aquatics responsibilities Tinder oversaw Denison's Men's and Women's NCAC Championship tournament and first two rounds of the NCAA  Women's Basketball tournament as the tournament director.

A native of Muncie, Indiana, Tinder joins Denison after three years at fellow North Coast Athletic Conference institution Wabash College, where he graduated from in 2020 with a Political Science degree. Tinder returned to his alma mater in 2022 as Assistant Director of Facilities, Equipment, and Game Operations before being promoted to Assistant Athletics Director of Operations in 2024. In these roles, he managed facility operations, coordinated events, and led student staff in supporting varsity and recreational programming.

Before returning to Wabash, Tinder worked as a graduate assistant for student development and administration and served on the game day operations staff at Ball State University, where he earned his master’s degree in Sports Administration.
