Cael Dent joins the Denison University Athletic Communications team as the Assistant Sports Information Director in April 2025.
Dent arrives to Granville after serving time as a student broadcaster at Otterbein University, mainly serving as the play-by-play and color commentator for the men's and women's basketball teams. He also did time as the public address announcer for men's and women's lacrosse and calling stats.
While at Otterbein, Dent was a four-year letter winner in football, three-time academic All-OAC and two-time academic All-District. He graduated in May 2025 with a bachelor's degree in journalism/media communications.
Dent is a native of Columbus, Ohio, and currently resides there.
