Denison University

Briana Fields begins her fourth year as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance and Athletics Operations at Denison University in 2024-25. She oversees all compliance aspects for each of Denison 26 varsity athletics programs, and also helps manage the budget for the athletics department.

Fields came to Denison from Ohio State University, where she worked since September 2016. Prior to OSU, she served for a year as the Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance at the University of California and spent three years as the Director of Compliance for Rules Education at Indiana University, five years in various roles in the University of Missouri’s Athletics Compliance Office, and two years as an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Gannon University.

Fields holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Montana State University where she was a member of the women’s basketball team and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She later received her master’s degree in Intercollegiate Athletics Leadership from the University of Washington.
