Denison University field hockey welcomes Allie Hosto as its new Assistant Field Hockey Coach ahead of the 2025 season.
A native of Edwardsville, Illinois, and a graduate of Lindenwood University, Hosto brings a strong background in player evaluation and development with an emphasis on building positive, growth-oriented team environments.
Most recently, Hosto served as the junior varsity field hockey coach in Edwardsville, where she focused on designing effective practice plans centered on stick skills, fundamentals, and strength and conditioning. Prior to that, she coached with Gateway Field Hockey Club in St. Louis, Missouri, and with the FHL in Cleveland, Ohio. At the club level, she worked with athletes ranging from ages three to 18, evaluating skills, tailoring drills to strengthen weaknesses, and fostering supportive and competitive practice settings.
As a student-athlete at NCAA Division II Lindenwood University, Hosto earned NFHCA Division II All-America honors and was actively involved as a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology before completing a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration.
