Went 7-10 at Notre Dame’s DeCicco Duals and was 5-3 at the CSU Duals
Had a strong showing at the January North American Cup after making it out of her first-round pool with a 2-4 record but losing her first direct elimination bout to the #2 seed Sophie Liu by a score of 15-6 - Hormel eventually placed 127th in the Junior Women's Sabre event
Made the medal stand with her sixth-place finish in sabre at the Second Annual Denison Winter Open
Went 10-1 for Denison's undefeated sabre squad at the Vassar Invitational
Posted six victories at the OSU Duals, including one against No. 5 Ohio State University
Was 16th in sabre at the Ohio State University Fall Open
Tied for third place in sabre at the First Annual Big Red Alumni Meet
