2014 (Junior): Competed in two events before suffering a season-ending injury ... finished fifth among Division III runners and 59th overall at the Dayton Flyer 5K (17:15.1) ... took seventh overall at the Denison Invitational (27:58.1) ... named to the 2014-15 NCAC Academic Honor Roll.

2013 (Sophomore): Finished sixth on the team at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championship (29:16.7) ... was the fourth DU runner to cross the finish line at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional (27:24.1) ... winner of the 2014 Ted Barclay Top Five Award ... named to the 2013-14 NCAC Academic Honor Roll.

2012 (Freshman): Took 37th at the North Coast Athletic Conference Championship (27:50.2)...Took 58th at the All-Ohio Championship (27:23.90).

Personal: Biology major with a minor in Spanish ... son of James Groff and Elizabeth Arends ... father, James, ran cross country and track at Albright College ... honored at Denison Top-50 banquet in 2014, 2015 and 2016 ... member of the National Honor Society at Hempfield High School ... is a member of DSAAC, the Denison Student-Athlete Advisory Council ... is also a member of the Denison track & field team.
