Amber Haslett enters her first season as the assistant field coach at Denison University in 2019-20.

Before arriving in Granville, Haslett recently wrapped up a stellar collegiate field hockey career at Montclair State University where she helped the Red Hawks boast an overall record of 62-19 and reached the NCAA Tournament from 2016-18. Finishing her playing career with 38 goals and 21 assists, Haslett was named to the All-NJAC first-team three times, was a two-time NFCHA South Atlantic Region first-team selection and was honored by the NFHCA as a first-team All-American in 2018.

Off the field, Haslett received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sports, Event, and Tourism and Marketing from Montclair State University in December of 2018. During the summer of 2017, Haslett assisted on campus as a summer camp coach for basketball and field hockey, teaching mechanics, skills, and rules of both sports.

She also has experience as an assistant coach at the USA Field Hockey Futures and the Super Dome in Waldwick, N.J. where she helped teach all aspects of field hockey from fundamentals and rules, to defense and offense.

Haslett is a native of Butler, N.J.
