Assistant Field Hockey Coach Allie Hosto will enter her second season with the Big Red in 2026.
The Big Red dominated during the 2025 season, finishing the NCAC regular season with a record of 8-1, with an overall record of 12-7 securing the number one seed in the 2025 NCAC Tournament. Denison defeated Ohio Wesleyan in the NCAC Finals for the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament, bringing the Big Red's championship total to 14. Five members earned All-NCAC honors, with both Emma Gebhart earning the Offensive Player of the Year and Tabitha Chandler earning the Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive year. First-Year Lulu Keil also was named the 2026 NCAC Newcomer of the Year.
A native of Edwardsville, Illinois, and a graduate of Lindenwood University, Hosto brings a strong background in player evaluation and development with an emphasis on building positive, growth-oriented team environments.
Most recently, Hosto served as the junior varsity field hockey coach in Edwardsville, where she focused on designing effective practice plans centered on stick skills, fundamentals, and strength and conditioning. Prior to that, she coached with Gateway Field Hockey Club in St. Louis, Missouri, and with the FHL in Cleveland, Ohio. At the club level, she worked with athletes ranging from ages three to 18, evaluating skills, tailoring drills to strengthen weaknesses, and fostering supportive and competitive practice settings.
As a student-athlete at NCAA Division II Lindenwood University, Hosto earned NFHCA Division II All-America honors and was actively involved as a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology before completing a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration.
