2023 NCAC Defensive Athlete of the Week - Week 7: Recorded two shutouts during the Big Red's final week of the regular season. Joannou recorded two saves in overtime against Ohio Wesleyan, forcing the game into a shootout after a 0-0 score persisted through both regulation and the two overtime periods. She then tallied her second shutout of the week against Washington & Jefferson, extending her league-leading shutout total to 12. Additionally, Joannou and the Big Red did not allow a goal in 10 conference games this season.
Achieved a career high of 26 saves in one game against Christopher Newport on 10/15/23

Recorded her first career win against Roanoke (Sept. 3)
