Opened in August of 2012, the Trumbull Aquatic Center was part of the $38 million dollar Mitchell Center renovation and expansion project by the Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation.
- Approximately 75,943 new square feet of space
- Permanent seating for 740+ spectators
- State-of-the-Art Daktronics Scoring System for Swimming and Diving, featuring 2 full color scoreboards
- Four High-Definition cameras located around the aquatic center, allowing for real-time web streaming of all varsity events
- Appxoimately 850,000 gallons of water in the Competition Pool
- Competition Pool Features:
- Nine 50 Meter Lanes which can be converted into twenty 25 yard lanes
- One Stark moveable bulkhead which can be moved to create different pool lengths
- State-of-the-Art moveable floor system which moves the floor at the west end from 7 feet deep to 0 feet deep
- Depth ranges from 7-8.5 feet deep
- Approximately 193,000 gallons of water in the separate Diving Well
- Diving Well Features:
- Two 1 meter spring boards and two 3 meter spring boards
- Diving spotting rigging for both 1 and 3 meter spring boards
- Water aggitation system for both 1 and 3 meter spring boards
- Depth ranges from 9-14 feet deep
- 16 person hot tub spa with therapy jets

Competition Pool: Â 78 degrees
Diving Well: Â 82 degrees
Spa: Â 104 degrees
Air: Â 82 degrees
