Return to Club Sports Home

The Denison Outdoor Club provides students with an opportunity to take part in outdoor activities away from school. The club typically runs events throughout the fall and the spring. Some of these events include backpacking, rock climbing, caving, hiking, kayaking, rafting, and smaller community-based activities like pumpkin patches, winter crafts, and bio walks. Our typical activity is rock climbing twice a month. Most of our weekend activities take place in West Virginia and Ohio. Our major trip is white water rafting at the Upper and Lower Gauley River during Fall Break. So come and join us on our next wilderness adventure!
The Outdoor Club climbs on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 3 p.m. Please contact one of the officers if you are interested.
