TOURNAMENT NOTES: Second-seeded Ohio Wesleyan advances to the tournament
finals against top-seeded Allegheny College in Meadville, Pa., on
Saturday, October 28, at 1 p.m. The winner of that game will be the
2000 NCAC women's soccer champion and earn the automatic bid to the NCAA
Division III Championships ... Denison finishes the season tied with
Wittenberg University in third place in the NCAC standings. Wittenberg
was a 2-0 loser to Allegheny in today's other semifinal match in
Meadville ... All other teams will wait to hear from the NCAA Women's
Soccer Committee on Sunday, October 29, about any further national
tournament inviatations beyond the conference's automatic bid (Pool C).
