Women's Lacrosse Roll to 19th NCAC Tournament Title with 19–10 Win Over Wooster

GRANVILLE, Ohio — No. 6 Denison women's lacrosse captured its fourth consecutive NCAC Tournament title on Saturday afternoon, defeating  Wooster 19–10 to secure the program's 19th championship while capping an undefeated conference run at 7–0 and improving to 17–1 overall. This also marks Denison's 90th overall NCAC Tournament title.

Denison came out firing, scoring six times in the opening quarter to build early separation and take a 6–2 lead after one. The Big Red continued to apply pressure in the second, adding seven more goals to carry a commanding 13–5 advantage into halftime, fueled by sharp ball movement and success on free-position opportunities.

Out of the break, Denison maintained control with a five-goal third quarter, stretching the lead to 18–7.The offense stayed balanced all game, with production coming from across the lineup and a steady flow in transition.

Wooster made a push early in the fourth quarter, scoring three quick goals to cut into the deficit, but Denison responded and closed out the game with the final goal to seal the 19–10 victory.

Denison's offense was spread across the lineup in the 19–10 win, led by Mary Martinson's four-goal performance on seven shots. Addie Clift added a hat trick, while Bridget Sheehy, Sophie Davenport, MK Barnhart, Madison Goldstein, Finlay Harmon, and Grayson O'Marra each chipped in two goals to power the balanced attack.

The Big Red finished with advantages in shots (32–28), ground balls (18–13), and clears (17-of-18), while converting 4-of-7 free-position attempts and recording seven saves defensively to cap the championship performance.
