Granville, Ohio- In celebration of D3 Week, Denison University Athletics inducted the 2025-26 class into the Chi Alpha Sigma honor society, prior to the Big Red's 15th Annual James T. Glerum '82 Top-50- Scholar-Athlete Celebration on Monday, April 6. This year's class represented 18 different varsity teams and boasted an average GPA of 3.72. The 56 student-athletes inducted this year are the sixth Chi Alpha Sigma class inducted by Denison University.
Denison's Chi Alpha Sigma chapter allows the university to honor collegiate student-athletes who have excelled in the classroom and athletic competitions. To be eligible to join the honor society, the student-athlete must participate in a sport at the varsity intercollegiate level, achieve junior academic standing, display strong moral character, and earn a 3.4 or higher cumulative grade point average.
Established in 1996, Chi Alpha Sigma continues to provide outstanding student-athletes the opportunity to connect within a fraternal association that aligns their educational and athletic successes for a lifetime.
