GRANVILLE, Ohio- College Sports Communicators has released the recipients of its 30 Under 30 Class of 2025, and among the 30 honorees is Denison Athletics' very own, Hailey Owens. The honor recognizes emerging athletics communicators from all levels of collegiate athletics in strategic, creative, and digital spaces.
Owens joined the Denison Athletics Communications in March of 2025 as the Assistant Director of Athletics Communications. Owens comes to Granville after stops at Otterbein University and Baldwin Wallace University. At Otterbein, she served as the athletics communications and media specialist before being promoted to associate director of athletic communications for multimedia. Before becoming a member of the Cardinals' athletics department, Owens spent six years as a Yellow Jacket. While at Baldwin Wallace, she was a two-year letter winner in softball and earned her bachelor's degree in sport management in 2021 and masters of business administration in 2023.
Since joining the Big Red staff, she has taken the lead on revamping Denison Athletics' social media presence and has assisted with website updates. Owens takes pride in training and developing student talent, and in the span of just a few months at Denison has created a creative team to cover home events using videography, photography, and graphic design.
