The Denison men's track and field team sent two athletes to the 11th Annual Gator Invitational held at Frank B. Fuhrer Field at Robertson Complex in Meadville, Ohio.

Big Red senior Bryan Fowler was the first to compete for DU. Fowler finished third in the javelin with a toss of 174'1". The senior achieved the feat with his second toss of the finals. Freshman David Carter took part in the triple jump later in the afternoon. Carter placed third in the event with a combined leap of 46'6.25".

The Big red will send select athletes to the Great Lakes Elite Meet held at Ohio Wesleyan University on Thursday, May 19.
