The Big Red women's track and field team took ninth at the Marv Frye Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday.

Sophomore Tiffany Davis won the 100 and 200-meter dashes to pace Denison in Delaware on Saturday.  Davis posted a time of 12.62 in the 100, and 25.34 in the 200.  The sophomore's time in the 200-meter dash was the second-best time in school history, and was four-hundredths of a second shy of the school record set by Jill Westerfeld in 2001.

First-year Abbi Boss finished fifth in the 5,000 with a time of 18:28.35, which ranks sixth on the all-time peformer's list.  Trailing Boss was sophomore Olivia Galano, who finished 14th after crossing the line in 19:40.60.  In the 1500, junior Michelle Clark posted a time of 4:56.29 en route to a sixth-place finish.  Clark's time also ranked 10th on DU's all-time list.  First-year Jillian Reagan took ninth in the 400 hurdles after crossing the line in 1:22.22.

In the field events, seniors Ashlee Dickson and Katherine Sylvia posted top-9 performances.  Dickson took eighth in the pole vault after clearing 9-02.25, while Sylvia was ninth in the discus with a toss of 108-00.  The team of Davis, Jane Zelenkov, Dickson and Reagan posted a time of 54.67 en route to an eighth-place finish in the 4x100 relay.

The Big Red returns to Delaware next Saturday for the Division III All-Ohio Championship.  Events are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
