Sophomore Tiffany Davis posted a pair of victories at the 2012 Washington & Lee-Virginia Military Institute Carnival on Saturday afternoon.

Davis won her first title in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.61.  That performance topped her previous best set last year by 19 hundredth of a second.  Over an hour later, the sophomore was victorious in the 200 dash after clocking in at 25.45.  Her time in the 200 was also a personal best and ranks third all-time in program history.

First-year Jillian Reagan took ninth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:21.24, while Jane Zelenkov and Laura Houcque took 14th and 15th, respectively, in the 400 dash.  Zelenkov clocked in at 68.04, while Houcque posted a time of 73.34.  In the shot put, senior Katherine Sylvia took 14th with a toss of 32-01.00.

The 4x800 relay team of Michelle Clark, Abbi Boss, Olivia Galano and Anne McGinty placed fourth with a time of 10:43.44.  The foursome of Zelenkov, Ashlee Dickson, Reagan and Davis finished eighth in the 4x100 relay after finishing in 55.15.

The Big Red returns to competition on Friday at the Wooster Invitational.  Events are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
