The Denison University women's outdoor track and field team took part in the 2010 Division III All-Ohio Championships on Saturday afternoon hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio.  The Big Red finished the meet in 13th place with 13 points.

Denison was paced by sophomore Katherine Sylvia (Butler, Pa./Butler) who logged a third-place finish in the discus with a toss of 123-03, while senior Emily Taylor (Columbus, Ohio/Hilliard Davidson) finished sixth in the shot put with a heave of 37-00.50.  In the 800-meter run, junior Ashley Putnam (North East, Pa./North East) logged a time of 2:19.93, which was good enough for a fifth-place finish.

The Big Red returns to action on Friday (April 23) when they host the Big Red Invitational.
