GRANVILLE, Ohio--  Denison men's lacrosse has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2020 season.  The Big Red will open the season on Sunday, February 20 in Lexington, Virginia against Washington and Lee University.

The Big Red consistently plays one of the most difficult non-conference schedules in the nation and this year is no different. After W&L they travel to St. John Fisher in Rochester, New York on Feb. 25.

In their home opener, the Big Red entertain Roanoke College on Sunday, March 1 before traveling to Owings Mills, Maryland for the Mustang Classic hosted by Stevenson.  Denison will face Dickinson on March 13 before taking on the host, Mustangs, on March 14 at 8 p.m.

The month of April will focus on North Coast Athletic Conference play with the regular season finale taking place on Saturday, April 25 against rival Ohio Wesleyan at Piper Stadium in Granville at 4 p.m.

Denison finished the 2019 season with an 18-3 record and was ranked eighth in the final USILA Division III Top-20 Coaches Poll.  The Big Red has made four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances highlighted by one NCAA Final Four (2017) and two Elite Eight (2016, 2019) showings.  Last season, head coach Mike Caravana joined an elite group of coaches by winning his 300th career game.
