Cardinals knock off Big Red in Gambier

GAMBIER, Ohio-- Denison fell to 4-2 on the season after a 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-23) loss to Otterbein University at the Kenyon College Invitational.

Denison was led by Emma Woerner and Leah Reinfranck who finished with seven kills apiece.  Kaileigh Poe had 11 assists and Julia Miller added eight for the Big Red.  Otterbein was paced by five players who had seven or more kills.  Morgan Lowenkamp led the Cardinals with 10 kills and a .409 hitting percentage.

The Big Red returns to action in Gambier, Ohio on Saturday, Sept. 9 when they take on Geneva at 1 p.m. and LaRoche at 3 p.m.
