The Denison University women's indoor track and field squad finished fourth at the Greater Columbus Invitational hosted by Capital University on Saturday afternoon. The Big Red finished the day with 37 points.
Junior Katie Navarre (Upper Arlington, Ohio/Upper Arlington) paced Denison with a victory in the 3,000-meter run, crossing the line at 10:37.46. Jane Zelenkov (Englewood, Colo./Regis Jesuit) finished runner up in the 500-meter run with a mark of 1:27.72, while Nicole Prince (Hurricane, W.V./Hurricane) logged a time of 3:23.18 in the 1,000-meter run which was good enough for a third-place finish.
Denison returns to action next weekend when they travel to Gambier, Ohio for the Kenyon Invitational on Feb. 12. The Big Red will then take part in the Division III All-Ohio Championship hosted by Otterbein College on Feb. 13.
